Problem: The interior of the manhole is
crumbling, the connecting pipes are plugging up from years of oxidation and deterioration and small ( and not
so small) leaks are allowing ground water to seep into the manhole and sewer line.
Solution:Let our trusted contractors or your own team clean and rehabilitate your damaged
manholes.
Rehabilitate your damaged manholes in only
two effective and reliable steps for a fraction of the cost to excavate and
replace..
Step 1.
Preparation
Step 2.
Rehabilitation
Step 1.
Preparation
Notice the damage H2S gas has caused to the concrete. Our skilled team members will chisel
out the corroded and damaged concrete and then power wash the surface to prepare it for an application of
structural concrete with H2S gas inhibitor.
Our technician sprays on structural concrete with H2S gas inhibitor restoring the manhole
surface to "Like New" condition. After a short drying time, a coating of H2S gas
inhibiting epoxy is sprayed on completing the manhole interior repair.
Manhole severely damaged by build up from H2S gas corrosion.
Close up of corroded sewer pipe connection to manhole.
Step 2.
Rehabilitation
A sewer pipe bypass was attached during manhole re-surfacing avoiding the need to shut down
the wastewater flow.
The manhole repair has been completed. Wastewater is flowing smoothly from the
sewer pipe into the refurbished manhole.
